Starting secondary school is always a time of great excitement, mixed with a few nerves and much anticipation of new things. This year we are welcoming 240 new Year 7s to St Peter’s. For the very first time we are welcoming students from our St Peter’s primary phase, as well as students from 31 other schools. Some of you are coming with lots of people you know, whilst others are coming entirely on their own. Every single one of you is very welcome. We hope that you will settle in quickly, make new friends and feel at home at St Peter’s very soon.

It has been a huge shame that we have not been able to have all of our usual transition events, which means that you haven’t had the opportunities to meet your tutor and your fellow tutees, or start to find your way around the site. On this page you will find some useful links and resources that will help you find out more about your tutor, school life and information that will come in useful. There is a link to a quiz at the bottom of the page — you will find all the answers on this page or in the handbook, but there is also a space for you to ask questions and I will do my best to answer them.
