Privacy Notice

Student Financial Support (How we use your information)

St Peter’s Catholic School collects data to support the learning of all of its students and fulfil its statutory obligations as documented in Education Regulations (2013). This Privacy Notice outlines what information we need to collect in order to give financial support to students.

The categories of student and student carer contact information that we hold and share include:

Student Personal information:

Name, Date of Birth, Gender, Contact Information, information regarding residency and Bank account details.

Student Carer Information:

Name, Relationship to student and details of Household Income.

Data Sharing

This is NOT Shared outside of the school.

Storing data relating to student financial support

Student Bank account details will be printed out and held securely for a period of 1 year to enable ad-hoc payments to be processed efficiently. After 1 year bank account details will be destroyed. Supporting financial documents will be destroyed immediately after they have been verified and logged.

Requesting access to your personal data

Under data protection legislation, carers and students have the right to request access to information about them that we hold.
