KEY STAGE 1
Unfortunately, Key Stage 1 assessment arrangements for 2020 were disrupted by the global pandemic.
Our Key Stage 1 success stories in 2019 included:
- Attainment of the expected standard in reading (88%) was significantly above national and in the highest 20% of all schools. This was also the case in 2018 and 2017.
- Attainment of greater depth in reading (38%) was significantly above national and in the highest 20% of all schools.
- Attainment of greater depth in mathematics (33%) was significantly above national and in the highest 20% of all schools.
96.7% of our Year 2 students met the standard of the Phonics Screen this November. Ordinarily, they would have undertaken this in the summer term of Year 1 but, again, usual assessment arrangements were disrupted by the global pandemic.
Our Year 1 students have consistently achieved very well in the national Phonics Screen:
|St Peter's School||97*||87||93||92||95|
*A previous Screen was administered in November of Year 2 as a result of the global pandemic.
In 2019, 83.3% of our EYFS children achieved a ‘Good Level of Development.’
Our reception children have consistently achieved well by the end of their first year at school:
|St Peter's School||83.3||85.0||79.0||80.0||73.7|
KEY STAGE 2
Unfortunately, Key Stage 2 assessment arrangements have been disrupted by the global pandemic.
Having opened our Primary Phase in September 2014, our very first cohort of students reached the end of Year 6 in July 2021, so as yet, we do not have any data to share.
