Year 10 crème patisserie skills

Our Year 10 students have be practising their crème patisserie skills this week. They are looking ahead to Year 11 and perfecting patè sucre, piping, using eggs to set custards and creating glazes. 

The students experienced the stress of working in the catering industry when they struggled to get everything done to a high enough level on time. Next lesson they move on to panna cotta and plating up with coulis.
