U17 Rugby tournament win
On Friday 4 October the U17 boys rugby team travelled to Bryanston school to compete in the Dorset and South Wiltshire county 10 a-side competition. There were 16 state school from across the counties competing in the stunning grounds of Bryanston school.
The boys have worked so hard over the last 4 years and were immensely proud of their efforts. Luca captained and led the team from the front and the boys responded to each other’s efforts with some skilful and assertive performances, outstanding teamwork and comradery. Collectively, they play very entertaining rugby with real power and pace and some extraordinary touches of skill and finesse. The team attracted a great deal of admiration from the side line and after a couple of glitches where they really made hard work of a couple of games they went on to win the tournament. I am really proud of the boys and they should be very proud of themselves. A great event run by the RFU and fantastic result.
