Best results in over a decade!

There were scenes of joy and pride this morning as students, families, and staff at St Peter’s School celebrated an exceptional set of A Level results — the best in over ten years.
This year, the proportion of students achieving A*–B and A*–C grades has surged, pushing the average points score to its highest level in more than a decade.
Headteacher Ben Doyle commented:
It is wonderful to see our students so happy with their results and ready to start the next chapter in their lives. I am delighted that record numbers of our young people have secured places at their first-choice universities for September. I’m incredibly grateful for the unwavering support from our students’ families, and deeply humbled by the tireless dedication of our staff who have supported and guided our students over the past two years.
Simon Atkins, Head of Sixth Form, added:
So many students have done exceptionally well, but I would especially like to recognise Freya Miller, who achieved 4 A*s in her A Levels – having already achieved Grade 9s in all her GCSEs two years ago! Other standout students include Filip Czwojdrak, Benji Allen, Yazmin Brizland, Michalina Orlos, and Eve Ruscillo, all of whom achieved a combination of A* and A grades across their subjects. There are so many more we could mention – including those who’ve faced significant challenges and shown enormous strength and resilience to achieve outstanding results.
We are so proud of all of you.
