We were delighted to take two groups of students from Years 7 to 10 on a well-earned PE rewards trip to the beach. These students were recognised for their commitment, having attended 10 or more clubs in a single sport over the course of the year.
The secondary library is running a summer reading challenge over the holidays, with a certificate and small prize for all completed entries.
We are thrilled to announce that our Year 9/10 girls’ team won the U15 Dorset Schools 5-a-side Beach Soccer tournament today! After an intense competition, they triumphed over Leaf in the final with outstanding skill and teamwork.
Sports day was a resounding success.

Over the past three months here at St Peter’s library, ten students from Years 7–11 have been shadowing the Carnegie Medal award for the best young person’s book and author for 2025.
Huge congratulations to Joseph in Year 10, for reaching the final of Dorset Junior Chef of the Year and the semi-final of Southwest Junior Chef of the Year 2025 to be held at Weymouth College on Thursday 3 July.
Throughout the month of May, students in Year 7-10 took part in our "Caught You Reading" inter-tutor competition. The challenge? To get caught reading as many times as possible.
Eight of our students were chosen to attend an Inclusive Sports Leaders event at The Purbeck School in Wareham.
This week, our Year 7 and Year 8 students were fortunate to experience an exciting STEM roadshow focused on artificial intelligence. The event was delivered in partnership with BAE Systems, the Royal Navy, and the Royal Air Force.
Year 9 student, Antoni and his dance partner, Sofia, had the honour of representing Great Britain as part of Team GB 2025 in the Ballroom section of this prestigious Team Match event, held in the iconic Empress Ballroom, Winter Gardens, Blackpool.
