Our Year 10 Food Preparation students have been developing impressive life skills in the kitchen. After learning how to expertly portion a whole chicken, they transformed it into multiple meals — jerk chicken from the limbs, a rich homemade stock from the carcass, and chicken breasts saved and frozen for a curry the following week.

As the Six Nations gets underway, our Year 8 boys have been putting in the hours on the training pitch and refusing to let the terrible weather dampen their spirits.
The recent St Peter’s French and Food Technology trip to Paris offered students a rich and memorable programme of cultural, linguistic and educational experiences. The itinerary included visits to iconic landmarks such as Sacré-Cœur, Montmartre, Notre Dame, the Eiffel Tower, Montparnasse Tower and the Louvre, as well as a relaxing river cruise along the Seine.
We have a treat in store for our students at Southbourne on Monday 9 February, as Caterlink's Area Development chef, Nick Farley, visits us to help celebrate National Pizza Day!

On 27 January 2026, the HPV vaccination will be provided in school for Year 8 students. This vaccination helps protect against cancers caused by the Human Papillomavirus (HPV).
Our Year 8s recently took part in the rearranged County 10-a-Side Rugby Tournament, and I couldn’t be prouder of their commitment, teamwork, and attitude throughout the season. Their hard work on the training field has clearly paid off.
