We are pleased to confirm that the flu vaccination will be offered in school this Autumn, on Tuesday 5 December, to help protect children against the flu. Flu can be an unpleasant illness and sometimes causes serious complications. Vaccinating children will also protect more vulnerable friends and family by preventing the spread of flu. With COVID-19 in circulation it is important to reduce the number of those becoming ill with flu this winter to help protect them and the NHS.
Last month we started our program to help build links with our local community.
The Year 10 boys rugby team entered into the Dorset County 10-a-side rugby tournament. The boys performed fantastically well, managing to balance an aggressive and physical game with some outstanding levels of skill.
Well done to Elijah for getting through to the final of the South West Junior Chef of the Year.

This year, we had another strong cohort of students who took up the challenge of completing their Bronze and Silver DofE Awards. The award strives to empower young people; to support them as they learn new skills, overcome obstacles and build confidence and resilience – our students clearly demonstrated this!
