Students from Years 7–12 excelled in their recitation of poems, ranging from classic verse to contemporary works, as part of this year’s national Poetry By Heart competition, held this week in the Chapel. Each performance was brought to life through thoughtful and creative interpretation.
A huge thank you to author Heather Davey, who visited the library this week to deliver an engaging and inspiring talk about her book The Ghosts of Merry Hall and her soon-to-be-published novel, The Memory Tree.
The Library was delighted to invite all St Peter’s students to take part in our Easter Competition, to create book-themed Easter cards.
As the Easter holiday draws near, it’s the perfect time to unwind with a good book. Why not visit St Peter’s School Library and explore some of our exciting new arrivals?
We are pleased to inform parents and carers that Year 9 teenage immunisations will be offered at school 23/24 April to help protect your child. These vaccinations are free from the NHS.

St Peter’s Secondary Library is running an Egg-citing Easter Competition, and all students are invited to take part! Your challenge is to design a book-related Easter card. You can base your design on a favourite book, character, or story. Templates are available from the library to help you get started.
We’re excited to be welcoming author Heather Davey to the secondary library on Tuesday 24 March at 1:45pm.
Our U12 and U13 B & C Netball teams were in action this week in friendly fixtures against The Grange. It was a tough set of games, but a fantastic experience for our girls.
