Catering

It is very important that the children enjoy their meal time experience which we feel is an opportunity for them to gain valuable social and interactive skills with other children. School meals at St Peter's are provided by Caterlink.

There will be a hot lunch on every day with a vegetarian alternative. We also have available jacket potatoes with a choice of filling on select days. We pride ourselves on using fresh vegetables and fresh meat wherever possible.

Please discuss the menus with your children and encourage them to try the dishes available. Should you have any queries or concerns please do not hesitate to contact Caterlink via the school reception.

All students in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 are entitled to a school lunch, free of charge.

The Government have committed to this scheme to:

  • Ensure ‘every child gets the chance in life they deserve’
  • Teach healthy eating habits, and
  • Boost attainment, where a healthy hot meal gives children the ability to concentrate and do well in the classroom.

Year 3 -Year 6 may purchase a school lunch, if required. Meals for ALL years must be prebooked via ParentPay, with at least 24 hours notice.

See the link below for how to book school lunches via ParentPay.

What to do if you need a refund

If you have paid into the Primary (R to 6) Lunches (Caterlink) through ParentPay and need the balance returning to your ParentPay account, or if you have paid money into the Lunch Accounts by mistake, please follow the process detailed below to obtain a refund. Refunds should be completed within a week. Should you have any other concerns please contact the School Finance Team on 01202421141 Extension 2340.

Please complete the form below

If you do not have a Google account/want to sign in to Google to submit this form, then you can use this link https://forms.gle/7CwYJmNLkTce6RmP8. However, we would ask that a screenshot of your child’s balance on the cashless system is sent to meals@wshgroup.co.uk  as proof of balance. If this is not completed, this may result in a payment delay.

FREE SCHOOL MEALS

Some families are in receipt of particular qualifying benefits and will still need to complete the application form for Free School Meals. This will ensure that Pupil Premium Funding, which is provided to schools based on their number of Free School Meals applications, is still received by St Peter’s in order to meet the needs of their children.
