Home Start competition success
St Peter's English Department recently entered a writing competition run by Home Start South East Dorset. The competition was open to the public and as a school we sent in 36 entries.
Local author, Sarah Lean, who writes children's books including: A Dog called Homeless and The Good Bear, judged the competition. See the video here to watch Sarah announce the winners.
Huge congratulations to conscientious and dedicated Year 9 students, Aoife, who won the KS3 competition with her poem, When will it stop, and Katie M for her runner-up place with her poem, You just don't get it. We are absolutely thrilled for them both for this external recognition.
