Inspiring the Next Generation

Last week, Mrs Sumbler, Mr Vrettos, and Mrs Hutson, alongside our fantastic Year 13 Science Prefects, delivered two exciting assemblies at our Primary phase. We were also delighted to repeat the experience at St Katherine’s Primary School as part of their Science Week celebrations.

Our team had great fun showcasing a range of whizz-bang-whoosh science experiments, and it was wonderful to see how captivated the students were throughout. At St Katherine’s, several students even stayed behind afterwards to ask questions—proof of just how inspiring they found the sessions!

A big thank you to Mrs Cox at St Peter’s and Mrs Gadd at St Katherine’s for inviting us and for all their support in organising the visits.

And the biggest thanks of all goes to Mrs Sumbler and Mr Vrettos for their hard work behind the scenes—trialling and organising the experiments, as well as handling all the packing, unpacking, and cleaning up. Your dedication made it all possible!
